Earlier today, Kai's family had announced that Kai will leave the group because of family issues through media and official websites. Supporting this up, SM posted on their official website that it is true that Kai will leave the group. The public demand for a explanation from SM and also Kai himself. Because of this, SM responded again on their official website and stating
"As all you had heard, Kai will leave the group because of family issues. We are humbly ask for your respect of their privacy. We are no longer handle this but it's up to Kai now."
SM's statement only made the problem worse. Many fans reacted on this. Others leave the fandom and some protested in front of the agency. Because of this ruckus, Kai posted on his twitter account an apology and an explanation.
"I'm sorry for this sudden announcement. I know many people are hurt because of this. I sincerely apologize. I know that you already heard my sudden leaving in the group and I wanted to explain this throughly.I'm going to leave the group because of family issues. My father had been bed-ridden for 3 months now because of an unknown disease. My sister and her family had faced financial challenges. My mom is in depression because of what happen to our family right now. While I was planning to continue on my studies in Stanford University, major in dancing which I got a scholarship. Because of this, my family had to move to US. My parents will receive medication with the help of our relatives. And my sister and her family are planning to start a new life there.
I also wanted to apologize to my fellow members. I sincerely thank you for the memories we share. Kyungsoo hyung, thank you for taking care of me. Suho hyung, you are the best leader in the world. And for the rest of the members, I'm sorry and I really love you guys.
Manager hyungs, coordi noona, stylist, Mr. Lee Soo Man, sunbae, and the rest of the staff that I failed to mention, thank you for your hard work. And for all the fans, I sincerely thank you. We are one, We are EXO."
After Kai had posted his side in his twitter account, many had reacted both nagetively and positively. SM posted again on their official website stated that all of the fans who sincerely love him to support his decision and keep supporting him. Other celebrities express their outward thanks and support to Kai Exo. As his fans, we can hope that his flight will be safe and sound.

I think enough with Kris left us, and now we have to accept that Kai will make the same thing as his hyung done eventhough their cases are totally difference!
